This is a summary of the third session for my Lest Dispelled Golarion GURPS campaign. It is meant to be coupled with a number of different point-of-views written by players in order to paint a picture of what occurred in the campaign.
A still pendulum is a phrase referring to the effective stilling of time as the characters come to a crossroads and must deal with the rearing of heads from different directions. This particular session saw the establishment of a common purpose between strangers, as well as to serve the final necessary backbone of the first module and major arc.
The following characters were present:
- Octavian, a woodsman. Both he and his panther, Urma, were petitioned by Ameiko’s friend to save her. Furthermore, they came to find a strange happening outside her home, where a series of small wildlife have come to pay homage.
- Leica, a marksman archaeologist, found a great deal of information out about outsiders, and encounters an incredibly lucid but disturbing dream.
- Elle, a noblewoman mercenary, is offered a great sum of money in order to acquire a weapon from the marsh.
- Huang, a seemingly innocent elderly Tian lady, happens to be taking the other three to Magnimar in her boat.
