Weekday Schedule

My weekday schedule is in the tables immediately below. Details about some of the events follow the weekly schedule.
One-time meetings can be seen by those who use Dalhousie's Meeting Maker service.

Research Block

I need uninterrupted time to develop and publish my research. This is not the same as meetings with research students.

Course Preparation

I need reserved time to prepare my lectures and seminar materials for the next weeks classes. This block in is the minimal time I require this semester.

Meetings

Committees

I serve on four Senate Committees, some Faculty of Computer Science (FCS) committees, and the SIM Council.

FCS Faculty Council

meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of every month

Senate Computing and Information Technology Planning Committee (SCITPC)

Meetings are scheduled for 3–4:30p.m. every fourth Wednesday (except for holidays).

Senate Library Committee (SLC)

Meetings are scheduled for 2–3:30p.m. on the third Thursday of each month.

Senate Committee on Learning and Teaching (SCOLT)

Meetings are scheduled for 10:30a.m. – noon on the second Tuesday of each month.

FCS Curriculum & Teaching (C&T) Committee

meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 11:30a.m.-1:00p.m. in Room 311 (in weeks when a speaker is not presenting).

FCS Resource Committee

meets on the second Tuesday of each month from from 11:30a.m.-1:00p.m., and at the call of the chair

About Accessibility and the Colour Categories

This webpage conforms to .

I chose the colours using Lynda Weinman's web safe colour charts and tested them for accessibility with Chuck Newman's excellent design evaluation tool. Thanks in a big way to them both.

I think Tablin (the W3C WAI Evaluation and Repair Group's HTML table linearizer) is pretty neat too.
