National Teaching award presented by the Society of Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, 2005. This is Canada's most prestigious teaching acknowledgement.

Named Award for Teaching Excellence
It has been an honour to have a teaching award instituted in my name by the Dalhousie University Student Computer Science Society. The "Srini Award for Teaching Excellence" is presented by the Computer Science Society to the Professor who has demonstrated teaching excellence as voted upon by the student body. I am the first recipient of this award in 2000.
