Purpose:
The Executive Review Committee is charged with evaluating the performance of each member of the DSU Executive, and reporting to Council. (more details)

Members:
The members of the committee for the 2003-2004 term are:

  • Nick Dauphinee (chair)
  • Joanne Macrae (council member)
  • Elizabeth Hallett (non-council member)

Status:
The committee was formed in September 2003. The results will be available by November 20th, possibly sooner. All but the most basic results will only be available to DSU council unless specifically stated otherwise.

Your Input:
We will be interviewing each of the executive individually, but in order for this committee to succeed, we need as much input as possible. If you are a councillor, please fill out the survey for councillors. If you are a student, please fill out the survey for students. DSU Full-time Staff should contact one of the members of the committee regarding the location of their survey.

Constitutional Guidelines:

  1. There shall be an Executive Review Committee, hereafter called "the Committee", consisting of three (3) non Executive Council members appointed by non-Executive members not earlier than April 1 and not after May 1 in the year in which Council is elected.
    1. the Committee will conduct performance evaluations on each DSU executive member by December 5 and April 1 each year.
  2. The Committee will evaluate each Executive member on the Executive member's job requirements within the By-laws, Regulations and goals set for the year.
  3. The Committee will report its evaluations to Council at the following Council meeting.
  4. Council has the authority, if deemed necessary, to exercise its right under By-law XI, if an Executive member's evaluation is unsatisfactory.
