• January 7, 2014: We had our first class today. The course syllabus and lecture slides of course introduction and Chapter 1 can be found here; Course Intro, Syllabus, and Chapter 1.
• January 9, 2014: Today we finished chapter 1. You can dowload the slides from above link.
• January 14, 2014: Chapter 2 slides are here.
• January 16, 2014: We had Quiz 2 in today's class. Today we discussed the topics of Chapter 2 until slides 56 . Please prepare these slide for next expected quiz :-).
• January 21, 2014: Chapter 2 is finished today.
• January 23, 2014: Assignment 1 is posted on blackboard and distributed in class today. Project groups were formed and group titles were selected by each group.
• January 28, 2014: Chapter 5 slides are here.
• January 30, 2014: Assignment 2 is posted on blackboard. Please contact me if you have any difficulty of accessing it..
• February 04, 2014: Chapter 6 slides are here.
• February 06, 2014: Chapter 6 was continued in today's lecture.

• February 13, 2014: Today we finished the chapter 7. The deadline of assignment 3 is extended to Thursday (Feb. 20, 2014). There will be no classes during next week. Our next lecture will be on Tuesday (Feb. 25, 2014), see you then.
• February 25, 2014: Chapter 8 slides are here.
• February 27, 2014: Chapter 8 is finished today. Please note that slides (56-59) are not included in your course. You need to prepare Chapters 1, 2, 5-7 for midterm. Rest of the chapters are required for in-class test. The dates of these exams can be seen in the course syllabus.
