Tamar has always gravitated towards music. From singing in small bands and coffee houses in high school; singing with church choirs; or belting out the Preacher’s Wife soundtrack with her three children singing and music hold some of the best memories of her life.

Instinctively and with encouragement from her children, Tamar began singing and performing with the award winning Nova Scotia Mass Choir. Tamar first saw the NSMC at the 1992 International Gospel Festival held in Halifax and became even more enthralled with gospel music. While with the choir, and her term as President in the choir’s 25& 26th years, Tamar had the opportunity to be engaged with the “behind the scenes” music industry and fell in love with the environment and its people.

Tamar comes by the music industry naturally as her Grandfather Roger Pryor was a piano player and singer in Harlem, New York until he passed in the 1980’s. Tamar brings to the table a degree from Saint Mary’s University, (she was Vice President of Student Affairs for the Organization of Part-Time and Mature University Students -where Tamar first started planning events), as well as gained an exuberance for getting things done. Tamar has an honest and straight forward approach and encourages the same with her team and artists.

Amber is currently enrolled in the Radio Television Journalism program at NSCC. Amber has had a love for all things art and media since she was a child and spent many years involved in musical theatre.

Music is still a huge part of her life and Amber is currently a member of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir. Amber works diligently to produce great content for our artists. She will be traveling to Tanzania, Africa later this year to produce website content for Farm Radio.

A native of North Preston, Shawn lives and breathes music. Shawn plays bass guitar, keyboards/piano, and drums at a professional level. Shawn has a proven record of skillfully directing bands, musical shows, choir events and programs. Shawn is currently the music minister at East Preston Baptist Church and former music minister of St. Thomas Baptist church in North Preston. While with St. Thomas Shawn co-produced a CD with the Hallelujah Praise Choir entitled: For You I am Praying- which won an ECMA (Gospel Group of the Year) in 2004.

Aside from gospel music Shawn has an extensive music career and has collaborated and performed with such artists as: Gary Beals, Woody Woods, Owen Lee, The Gospelaires, Sanctified Brothers, Carson Downey Band, and Shane Dunn to name a few. Shawn has spent significant time at Blessed Hope Ministries in Cleveland Ohio, USA, collaborating with Javert Haynes (bass player with Bobby Jones Gospel). Since 2013, Shawn has been the Owner/Producer of Sharp #5 Productions where he does everything from musical arrangements to mixing and mastering. In 2017 Shawn was presented with the prestigious ANSMA Industry Award for his well-deserved accomplishments in the music industry. Shawn is also the Director of the award winning Nova Scotia Mass Choir.
