Sales Forecasting

This two years consulting project was carried out through my company KNOYDA for the fast-fashion retail company Parfois.

The general goal of the project was to try to forecast the sales volume of new products for each shop of this internation chain. The idea was to try to explore the characteristics of the new products (type of product, color, etc.) and the characteristics of the shops, to try to anticipate the sales volume in order to support the decision on the quantity that should be sent to the shops. The overall goal was to avoid stock-outs while trying to minimize the number of products not sold at the shops (i.e. minimize the stock at the shop).
