Course Description

This Advanced Predcitive Analytics using R course provides a short introduction to some key steps of a typical predictive analytics project, using the R language and environment as the illustration tool.

The course addresses reporting tools in R; some of the key definitions and metrics for predictive analytics; relevant data pre-processing techniques; performance estimation, model tunning and comparison; feature selection; and handling imbalanced domains.

The course is targeted to participants with a significant background on the R environment and language.
