I'm from Viet Nam. In Vietnamese, my name is "Lê Công Đức". But it's kind of troublesome sometimes trying to write my name in English with the middle name. So I usually prefer the short form "Duc Le", and I like the fact that my name is one of the shortest names!
I started my PhD in Computer Science in Septerber 2017. I'm working under supervision of Dr. Nur Zincir-Heywood and Dr. Malcolm I. Heywood, in NIMS lab, Faculty of Computer Science, Dalhousie University. Prior to that, I did my Master of Computer Science at Dalhousie University (too), and Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
My main research interests are Network Security and Analysis, Anomaly and Intrusion Detection, Data Mining and Machine Learning. Further details about my research experience, honors and awards, etc. can be found in my Resume, or you can visit my LinkedIn profile.
