This is a list of some of the literary books I greatly admire and enjoy. They are in no particular order. I also have lists of books about programming and writing scholarly works.

Neuromancer: by William Gibson; (I enjoyed the sequel, Count Zero more but it doesn't make as much sense without Neuromancer, and Neuromancer is, to my mind, stylistically better.)

The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman: by Laurence Sterne; (A great work of experimental fiction! An edition with notes, such as that published by Oxford World Classics, is much easier to follow than one without notes.)
