I am currently a PhD student in the Faculty of Computer Science at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, canada. I am a member of Network Information Management and Security (NIMS) lab under supervision of Dr. A. Nur Zincir-Heywood .

My research interests are in use of Machine learning and Data mining techniques in data analysis. In my Ph.D., my focus is on analyzing network low-level data for network management and security purposes. I have particular interest in Intrusion detection, specifically botnet detection. Moreover, I am experienced in application-level data analysis to discover patterns and anomalies.

Highlights:

NIMS botnets data is publicly available on Botnet Data Analysis. To get access to more botnet                         data please contact me.

Our NIMS research was also covered in the Computer Science Magazine!
