1 cup (250ml) water 1 cup (200g) sugar 1 package (340g) fresh or frozen cranberries Mix water and sugar in medium saucepan. Stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to a boil. Add cranberries. Return to boil. Reduce heat. Boil gently 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temperature and refrigerate. Makes about 2 1/4 cups. Cranberries can be stored up to 4 weeks in refrigerator. They can be frozen up to 1 year. Cranberries freeze well and may be prepared as you would fresh fruit. To freeze for later use: Just place bag in freezer. Do not wash before freezing. When ready to use, rinse with cold water and drain. Do not thaw!!!
