NetPal: Dynamic Knowledge Bases for Administration of Networked Environments:

The goal of this project is to develop a system that will dramatically decrease administration overhead for networked
hosting environments - improving net profit for medium and large-scale Internet service providers. By
using a self-learning, dynamic knowledge base that monitors network downtime events, NetPal will be
able to intelligently present knowledge for corrective actions to network administrators. Led by
Palomino System Innovations Inc. (Toronto, ON) the project partners include the Telecom
Applications Research Alliance (TARA) (Halifax, NS), and Dalhousie University (Halifax, NS).
