Xiandong has a PhD from the School of Computer Science, University of Waterloo, Canada, master degree from Nankai University, Tianjin, China, and a bachelor degree from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China.    

His PhD research dealt with uncertain knowledge representation and reasoning, dynamic multi-agent probabilistic inference with graphical models, dynamic environmnet simulation, and random generation of multiply sectioned Bayesian networks.

Elizabeth has a Master of Business Administration, Sobey School of Business, Saint Mary’s University.  Her PhD topic is on the implications of Privacy Training on Firms

Said Saifi

Said received a Master of Business Administration from the Sobey School of Business. He worked on the impact that user privacy intervention mechanisms have on user’s online trust.

Deyun Gao

Deyun has a Bachelor’s degree from Tianjin University, China and a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University.  He has worked on implementing Web privacy services using WSDL, SOAP, and UDDI technologies.

Yanjun Zhang

Yanjun has a Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University. He was working on creating semantically rich knowledge representations of privacy preferences for user context management.

YingXin He

Yingxin did her B.Sc. degree in Harbin Normal University in China and a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University. Her general interests are database design and e-business. She was working on the design and implementation of a Web privacy e-negotiation agent using database technologies and the P3P platform.

Xuehai Wang

Xuehai has a bachelor degree from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Xiamen University, China and a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University. Xuehai developed methods for maintaining the integrity of the user’s knowledge bases for privacy in his thesis work.

Liming Xu

Liming received a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University.  She was working on semantic representation of the Canadian privacy legislation PIPEDA.

Nolan Zhang received a Master of Computer Science degree from Dalhousie University.  He worked on analyzing P3P policies to determine whether they comply with a Canadian privacy legislation PIPEDA’s legal requirements.
