Hi, my name is Xiaofen Zheng. I obtained my Ph.D. from Faculty of
Computer Science at Dalhousie
University in Canada in 2007. I was a
member
of
the IPAMI research group at
Dalhousie. Dr. Qigang Gao was my
supervisor. Dr. Norman
Scrimger and Dr. Evangelos
Milios were my supervisory committees. Here are a slideshow of the work that I had participated in, and a Demo of content-based image retrieval using perceptual shape features based on my Ph.D.
Now I am working as a postdoc in School of Medicine in University of
Pennsylvania.
In my spare time, I like to study a variety of dances, such as ballroom and belly dance. My best memories in Nova Scotia are skiing, canoeing and hiking in the excellent natural areas. I also enjoy cooking and creating new and (hopefully) delicious dishes.
