Call for Papers for Special Issue of Journal of Web
Engineering on
Improving the Effectiveness of Web Searching
The Journal of Web
Engineering (JWE) has agreed to host a special issue based on papers
from our recent WWW2004 Workshop on User Effeectiveness. Amanda Spink and
Carolyn Watters will be the guest editors for these papers. Based on the
response to the call we may be able to do two such issues.
We are looking for extended papers in the 20-30 double space page
length (or equivalent in other formats). This will give you an opportunity
to include more data, screen shots, and references as appropriate. If you
have any questions on this please contact Amanda (aspink@sis.pitt.edu) or
Carolyn (watters@cs.dal.ca).
Papers are due July 15th
In order to ensure timely publication of these papers we have set a short
deadline of July 15th. If this is not possible for you please contact
Amanda or Carolyn.
