course, McGraw-Hill 1998 (2nd edition). (The first three chapters give you a nice overview
of the working of networks and the Internet.)

London 1999 (paperback 2000). (An fun reading about the history of cryptography. Singh wrote also a
popular book on Fermat’s Last Theorem).
