Neurocomputing Project 3: (due Thuesday October 19 in class, 15 points)

Compare the subthrehold dynamics of the Hodgkin-Huxley neuron with the subthreshold dynamics of the spiking model by Izhikevitch [1]. Write up your observations in a brief paper (conference style). The paper must include a title, authors name and affiliation, short abstract and references. The fond size must be at least 11pt and the page limit is 4 pages.

Note: A very nice discussion and comparison of various spiking models is given in [2]. An example of the subthreshold dynamics of IF neurons in comparison to HH neurons is given in [3].
