Wall following competition


This project is about learning to follow a wall as fast as possible. The robot has to follow a wall within a distance of three feet from a start line to a goal line. Points are given for the speed of crossing the goal line. Every participants have three trials. Trials are aborted if the robot runs outside the three feed boundary or if a time limit is reached.


The system must be able to adapt to changing physical properties. The participants must present a standard tribot at the beginning of the competition from which alterations are made by the organizers. There will be a period of 15 minutes in which the controller is allowed to adapt to the changed physical properties of the plant. Note that only standard on-board sensors are allowed.
