1. Gunes sent me two very informative e-mails. The first being instructions for the Samba exploit, and the second being the code and user documentation for the the vulnerability analysis tool. I was having problems properly downloading the code from my WebMail, so while Gunes set up a link for me to download it from, I tried to get the Samba exploit working, however I had no luck and was more interested in getting my hands dirty in the vulnerability analysis tool.

2. For the rest of the day, I concentrated on getting to know and understand the vulnerability analysis tool and did some reading to help me better understand the mechanisms of the tool. The tool is installed properly and is working properly, however, I have yet to run any test trials with it yet.
