J. Blustein's Hypertext

A Note About Accessibility

A part of Notable Hypertext Websites

You may be surprised that many of the notable hypertext websites I like are not constructed with nearly the same attention to issues of WWW accessibility as I apply to my own sites. I find that regrettable but I also suspect that part of the reason these sites fly so high is that the author's have fewer structural constraints than I insist on for my own work. In some cases (S. Moulthrop's Watching The Detectives, for example) I doubt if the sites could do so much if they had to be accessible by everyone all the time.
