My name is John Healy and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science here at Dalhousie University. My supervisors are Dr. Evangelos Milios from Faculty of Computer Science and Dr. Jeannette C.M. Janssen from Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

I completed my undergraduate and masters degrees in mathematics at Carleton University and have been working as a mathematician for a number of years now. In the course of my work I've developed a strong interest in machine learning and computer science as well as in statistics.

My current research is focusing on graph based problems.
