| Research Interests: | I have worked on the design of routing algorithms for wireless ad-hoc networks. This work has led to the development of a general continuum model of ad-hoc networks. I am also interested in simulation, especially the development of discrete-event simulation systems for computer-assisted learning. Other research interests include decision analysis and systems benchmarking methodology. | |
| Brief Bio: |
I received a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in physics from Dalhousie University in 1966 and 1970. My Ph.D. is in applied mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 1972. I have been a member of the Faculty of Computer Science here at Dalhousie University since 1997. I had been at the Technical University of Nova Scotia from 1982 until it merged with Dalhousie in 1997. Previously I held positions at Memorial University of Newfoundland, UC San Jose, University of Alberta and St. Francis Xavier University. | |
