Today and yesterday marked the first Dalhousie-wide open house in 14 years. I find that kind of funny considering all the talk I hear about enrollment issues and low sense of community. I guess this is part of their Inspiring Minds initiative that they unleashed this summer. However, Computer Science as a faculty has had a few Open Houses over the past few years and they have generally been well received. This time, with the university at the helm, we as an individual faculty didn't fare as well I believe. I did have fun running about trying to do my part and help out.
